Weird color glitch in mixer insert and send slots. (MacOs)

Sometimes Cubase has white/blue or, like in the screenshots below, some kind of brown orange color in the insert and effect send slots.

Here’s a screenshot of the lower zone MixConsole inserts.

Loading plug-ins and everything works just fine, so it seems to me it’s some kind of color glitch.

Workaround is to save the project and restart cubase. Happens from what I can tell in new and in old projects pretty random.

My MacOs version is 13.4 and I’m using Cubase Pro 12 version 12.0.60 Build 453 (Apple Silicon)

Hi,

I have seen the same at someone’s else screenshots recently. Also Mac. But in my side, or looks correct.

Could you try to Disable Preferences in the Cubase Safe Start Dialog, please?

No thank you, that’s a horrible suggestion since it only hides the roote cause if it by any chanse would work.

Today I got a nice white/cream colored mixer.

Hi,

Could you then share your (ZIPped) preferences folder to test if we can reproduce it with your preferences, please?

No. It’s to test if your preferences somehow got corrupted. It just runs without using your preferences file. Next time you launch the application it would use that same file again. No change.

No that’s not going to happen.

If some moderator would delete this topic I would be just happy because:

  1. I don’t want to share files from my computer with strangers online.
  2. I don’t want to work for steinberg QA trying to figure out why their bugg-infested software is behaving weidrly
  3. I regret writing anyting about one of the bugs, god knows what I was thinking.
