Weird issue with some Native Instruments plugins

I’m not sure if this is an intermittent issue or if it’s caused by other software messing things but some Native Instruments plugins I have (Reaktor 6 Player, Solid Bus Comp, Transient Master were the ones I tested) do not open at all in Cubase 14.0.32. And it isn’t like it opens a black window or opens in the other monitor I have. The UI for those plugins never shows up. It does show up in Cubase as the window being opened but there’s nothing there. And the window isn’t out of bounds either because it doesn’t appear as another window in the taskbar either. This doesn’t happen with other NI plugins, only the ones I mentioned.

Out of curiosity, I reinstalled Cubase 13 and this issue doesn’t happen there.

I just tried a quick test using all three plugins (note that I have full Reaktor 6, not Reaktor 6 Player) in a small test project, with Cubase Pro 14.0.32 on Windows 10. No problem here:

The Transient Master, which was the second plugin I loaded (Solid Bus Comp was first, both on an existing audio track, then a new instrument track for Reaktor) did pop up on my second screen (where I keep the MixConsole), but that may well be because that was the last place I loaded it (or maybe just some random placement Cubase makes as I sometimes notice loading the same plugin on two different tracks may have one instance pop up on my primary monitor and the other on the secondary one), but I dragged them all to the primary project window to “pose” for the screen shot.

I forgot to mention. This issue only happens with Cubase 14. All the other DAWs (apart from Cubase 13) I tried show the plugins correctly.

Edit- Out of curiosity, I did try opening the plugins with only one monitor active and they show up. Now I don’t know if this is related to the DPI issue as the two monitors I have are different sizes and resolutions or it’s something else.

Interesting. FWIW, my two monitors are identical in all respects (even same model, with resolution of 1920x1080). You may be onto something with the potential of having some relationship to DPI (maybe specifically HiDPI?) considerations. There are a number of threads in this forum, and others elsewhere related to NI plugins that seem to relate to that context. For example, here is one from a few years ago:

Not sure if anything in that may give any useful information for your situation. Perhaps someone who has multiple monitors at different resolutions may be able to try a test to see if they see the same issue, or perhaps might have some clues on settings that make a difference here.
