So I’ve posted a video of the problem on Reddit. After watching the video, you’ll see that I’ve got a good clean signal all the way until Cubase is turned on, and the nothing on channels 1/2. I have a separate microphone on channel 5, and it records a signal just fine.
Any thoughts?

Unfortunately we don’t see, what happens, if you start Cubase and play the guitar.
What is weird, when you add the track and chose the Input Bus, the Input bus is not in the Audio Connections > Inputs.
Could you try to do it the old way, please? In the Audio Connections > Inputs add a Mono Bus and set it to Input 1. Then in the Add Track dialog choose the Mono In 1 as an input of the Audio track. Does it work?
