Weird time stretch problem in Cubase Elements

Hello all,

I’m having a weird issue and I can’t seem to remedy it. I’m doing some foley spec work and I am in the process of moving over from Logic. I’m testing Elements to eventually move to pro. All my MIDI is handled well and I adore it but any time I drag in Audio samples the sound is stretched. Current project is at 110 and every audio sample on the timeline is sloooooow. Any help?

Select the Audio Event, in the Info Line, make sure, the Musical Mode is not enabled.
