I have a plugin called Midiguitar2 and a Beta Midiguitar3..when I try to load the beta plugin into a new project I get this(image below)..can walk me through this solution
Hi,
In Cubase, go to Studio > Studio Setup > Audio System and see the ASIO driver name below the Audio System (on the left side). Click on this ASIO driver name. Then, on the right side, click on the Control Panel button. The Control Panel of the Audio Device appears. Decrease the Buffer Size (or Latency) value there.
What happens if you set it to 128? Are you using ASIO4All?
I don’t know what screen to open or panel to open to find the Daw buffer size
Hi,
There is no DAW Buffer Size. There is the Audio Device’s (ASIO Driver’s) Buffer Size only. And you can change it only in the Audio Device’s Control panel. If Cubase is running, you can reach it this way:
I’m doing that and the plugin shows up but when I click on something in it, it flashes the same warnings and the plugin disappears.. I’ll have to report it to Jam Origin, maker of Midiguitar3
FYI I’m running MidiGuitar 3 beta here with a buffer size of 128 and it’s working as expected.
C15 Pro on Windows 11.
I don’t think this is something that needs to be reported to Jam Origin, I think you just need to adjust your buffer size properly. What interface are you using?
Just a quick hookup to a Zoom g5n multi effects pedal .but I have 2 other interfaces including the one from Steinberg..with all this bad weather we’ve having in Maryland and my age (77) I’ll wait a while to experiment with the other interfaces..lol
