Then I ask… why does your problem not occur on the other 99.9% of the machines running CP8?
Run CP8 on another machine if you have one for testing temporarily and let us know if the “bug” happens on that machine too.

you will find out that it occurs on 99.9% percent of the other machines…as far as other machines go i did on 2 other.

You added your issue to a thread that has nothing to do with the original poster’s issue…which he solved…

Hint: Hippo was right when he said he could duplicate the “issue” and the “fix”.

My Control Room monitor is working BETTER than it did in 7 and 7.5

So far at least, it remembers the settings I used in the saved project where I used to have to assign MIX, Talkback every time I relaunched Cubase.

Have found a couple of glitches that I am investigating but haven’t had the time or need to deal with them.
