what triggers Cubase to re-scan plug-ins?


When a client is there and paying, this is no good - I have many and it takes a while. It happens unexpectedly sometimes, even when my plugins have already been scanned. So why why does it start from the begining again?

So what triggers a re-scan?

The disk is the same, and no new plugins were added. Could it be daylight saving changing dates or something?

There is a rescan that is associated with your computers automatic time changes (so twice a year). A lot of users have complained but… It is what it is. I guess you (we) need to start CB earlier on those days. :wink:
