What do you mean by this? I find the bus setup in Audio Connections to be quite powerful and you only need to set it up once.
-Midi import to pattern editor
-Pattern editor to Cubase IC Pro
-Fugue Machine Rubato-style modulators on Pattern editor
-Play thru - playback mode to Sampler Track
-More reliable ARA
-Global real-time tempo knob with automation for project
-Beat Calculator 2.0
I like to use the Focused Quick Controls for VST Instruments and Insert Effects.
One click on the QC icon in the plug-in window and Focused Quick Controls are available and clearly explained. That is very useful.
I would also like this for all 12 Modules of the Channel Strip,
as these Modules also “feel” like plug-ins:
- Noise Gate, 1 Module
- Compressor, 3 Modules
- Tools, 2 Modules
- Sat, 3 Modules
- Limit, 3 Modules
Suggestion:
With the 3 Compressor Modules and 1 Limit Module, you can already open the Module in its own window with an ‘e’ button. This option should be available for all 12 Modules so that each Module can be opened in its own window. The QC symbol should then be available in each of these 12 windows to make Focused Quick Controls available and clearly explained.
As a result, the operation of Focus Quick Controls would then be uniformly available for all Effects (Inserts and Channel Strip) and VST Instruments.
In Logic and Pro Tools you can switch between available inputs without having to set anything up.
-Tap to slice sample like MPC on Sampler Track
I would like to see plug-in’s via inserts, available via a tabbed interface, similar or the same as WaveLab but alas they are different beasts in terms of coding, completely dissimilar to, for example Cubase vs Nuendo.
Mute and solo buttons in the plugin windows.
When doing a multichannel audio export, automatically export mono tracks as mono, and stereo as stereo.
Currently, I have to go through and manually select each track twice to do this.
Other than that, just bug fixes. I really don’t need new features like randomising midi drum patterns, but I really do need to be able to comp linked drum tracks reliably. At the moment, the track edit/comping somehow becomes out of sync maybe 30% of the time after intensive editing, meaning I have to sometimes discard hours of work.
Also, Record and Monitor buttons, as Project interface buttons (not only on Folder Tracks).
Retrospective Record for audio.
With recent processing power and plenty of RAM, this should be possible
It’s already there - and been there for years!
Its called Audio Pre-Record and its a ‘record audio’ preference - set it for as long as you want.
Thanks for the response. I’ll give that a look
Not really. It’s like a midi note. but a slide-note. and the length of the note is the duration of the slide. It’s very simple and you have more control than portamento.
Looks fun! But just to clarify, this feature only works on native FL instruments, correct?
on vsti’s yes unfortunately. but it works on oneshots/wave files
You’re looking at the result and the UI integration of this feature. I try to inquire what happens underneath the surface.
What kind of data is generated?
…which presumably are hosted by an FL Studio native sample player?

Thanks, I appreciate it.
It is more info on how to use it, not how it works “under the hood”, though.

Is this like Fluid Chords VSTi?
