What’s the best way to edit guitar DI?

I’d imagine this is highly dependent on both the specific recording & its intended use. I think there isn’t a generic ‘best way’ and instead there are multiple good ways depending on the circumstances.

I generally use different ways of editing for different purposes:

  • AudioWarp > Free Warp for fixing smaller timing problems
  • VariAudio for monophonic pitch correction (for polyphonic pitch correction I use Melodyne Studio)
  • Manual cutting up samples for silencing, duplicating or moving sections of the recording around in the project

But then again, I also record guitar on 5 tracks simultaneously :slight_smile:
