I would like to see the new version of GA 6 with special functions such as spectral synthesis by 2026!

while this is a user forum, and none of us know when new versions will be released, it has been a relatively long time since Groove Agent has gotten attention. Although there have been some recent updates to GA5, we are with you in wondering when Groove Agent 6 will arrive.

Groove Agent SE 6 is already available inside Cubase Pro 15.
yeah. i just saw that. so there must be new announcment coming up soon then.
Give them a chance! They are probably trying not to break the internet! 
in IKM can do it, they can too.

is the drum editor still exist in GA 6 SE ?
while the pattern editor is a nice addition , the drum/midi editor could be programmed/recorded differently, and freely, not always on the grid 100%

Hi @mozizo , no worries, the drum/midi editor is still there. And as you assumed, patterns are more rigid.
You can convert between pattern and midi, if you want, but some information will inevitably be lost, due to the nature of things.
From midi to pattern, you might loose timing.
From pattern to midi, you loose some of the per step parameters which are not supported in the midi standard.

is GA6SE free for all users or its only for Cubase 15 ?
I believe it’s for ver 12 and above.

It is officially a Cubase 15 feature, but it should work with any Cubase using activation manager (NOT elicenser!!!) and which had a Groove Agent SE 5 included. Afaik the lowest version should be CB 12, but I would have to look this up. Bonus, you get the standalone, AAX(win64, macOS) and Audio Unit (macOS). So all in all, this is also a great free update for anyone with a Cubase 12+ license, regardles what DAW they want to use Groove Agent SE in 
The thing which does NOT work with older Cubase versions, is the deep integration with the pattern editor etc. In older versions you are limited to midi interaction and you can not drag the patterns to the timeline. Which makes sense, because older Cubase versions would not know what that is

Just watching the video GA SE6 introduction and playing around with GA SE6. Really like it. A lot of enhancements. Like scaling the UI, mixer show at bottom, a.s.o.. I think I will prefer it over GA 5 for now, until there is a version 6 available here as well.
