When is WaveLab 13.0.30 coming out?

When is WaveLab 13.0.30 coming out? Just curious???

about mid-july

The latest release of Wavelab is not long ago and you start asking for the next.

Is this some kind of habit I don’t understand?

THANKS PG FOR THE UPDATE!!!

In case you hadden noticed this is a public forum and that means people can ask questions. I am interested because I am having a lot of problems with WL 13 and hope that the upgrade will solve some of them…

That’s fair.
Personally i abhor when a certain program is released as, say, V4 and people start asking for V5 and start making lists for what should be on the next version.
It’s not the same as fixing bugs in a current version, of course.

The other thing i hate is developers having all the needed lines of code to implement a new feature but not releasing it until months or years later, in a new version, so as to charge for those features.

All in all, i think i am getting old so i hate a lot of things.
Oh well…

At the 6th of May you wrote:

“…I have been having problems with WL13 since it came out and I am hoping that MAYBE this update will “cure” the problems I am having with the program. That is why I wanted to know when the new update will be released. FWIW

For the time being I have gone back to WL12.”

All these constant questions about when updates will be released are taking up the lead developer’s time, which he could be spending on development…

Running around in circles…

And yes, this is a public forum intended to offer help. However, the strikingly high number of “strange” errors—which don’t appear anywhere else—is odd. Could there be another problem or phenomenon at play after all…?

Well yesterday my intern and I were working on a montage and right before our eyes one of the pieces changed places going from #8 to #4. We did nothing to cause this change. Also one of the markers for the start of a piece changed from red to purple without any intervention. I sure wish I could figure out what is going on since we are extremely busy.

Thanks for the replies.

It is the 17th. Just wondering when it will be coming out???

next week

Interesting.

Over at that other forum, that starts with a G, you eventually admitted this issue might not have anything to do with Wavelab13 and I believe you said it was resolved? Of course it took hours away from your most busy time of year. I think you mentioned you finally got things working? You mentioned an intern that changed something?

And you continually talk about plugs that don’t work in Wavelab, yet you don’t feel it’s necessary to list those plugs so the community at large can confirm or deny?

This is a user forum. I think it’s great anyone can contribute and list plugs that do not work in Wavelab in order to hear from others with the same plugs.

I also posted the “solution” here on the WL Forum.

It was NOT an intern who was at fault so don’t quote me when the facts are not correct. My interns xacerbated the problem, but were not the cause. I still do not know completely what was wrong but I had to remove WL13 from my computer and reinstall it after I ran a program to check the registry and had to do some “finagling” in the registry. I am running Windows 10 with all the updates and all my hard drives are SSDs.

What is so important about the plugins that are not working with WL? You seem to be fixated on me posting a list. If that is sooooooooooo important to you I will try and get a list and post it on the forum when I have time.

FWIW

My apologies, I have not seen that. I did read what you wrote at the other forum.

Got it. You didn’t blame your interns.

I’m not at all fixated on plugs that supposedly don’t work in Wavelab. Personally, I have never had a plug that didn’t work. But for future reference, I would like to know of any that supposedly do not work. For the good of the WL community I think naming plugs would be beneficial so other users can test as well regardless of OS. Simply proclaiming certain plugs do not work for you in Wavelab or have not worked without substantiation from others seems quite futile don’t you agree?

Would @PG1 have a list?
