When recording, and then undoing, the file is still on my hard disk?

When I record a file in Wavelab, but decide to “undo” the recording and try again, I see the original recorded file is still on my hard disk. Once my montage is complete, what’s the best way to delete all of these files that have been created that are not needed? I have many unused files, and many still used within the montage.

WaveLab does not do that automatically, but you can use the consolidate audio montage feature with the following parameters.
