Buy: whenever you want and - it is abailable. Activate: Earliest 4 weeks before 10.5 comes out.
It won’t be until probably November or December next year based on their previous release dates. Not sure if it’s worth waiting a whole year for to save a tiny amount. You’d have to be lucky and time the activation no more than a month before.
