Where are the Cubase presets?

Hi All!

I have had to replace my old studio computer. There were a ton of presets I had saved on there for Cubase (EQ’s, compressors, etc). Where are these files located? I need to copy them to my new computer.

Is this what you’re looking for?

  • If on MAC, in a Finder window hit cmd+option+g and paste the following address:
    ~/Library/Preferences/Cubase 11/Presets/

  • If on Wndows, hit win+r and paste the following address:
    %APPDATA%\Steinberg\Cubase 11_64\Presets\

    Note: you need to replace “11” with whatever Cubase version you have.
    Presets for plugins that are shared between multiple DAWS* are saved in separate folders (outside of the one mentioned above), so on this part you’d have to do yourself some digging. I’m willing to help, but I don’t know what plugins you’re using.
