Patches in Halion Sonic SE usually load up with all the Quick Controls pointing to various effects parameters. Where are the FX that are attached to those Quick Controls? The “Effects” page has no FX loaded (and these are Send effects anyway). The “mute insert FX” button works – it bypasses all the FX attached to the Quick Controls, but the FX themselves seem to be invisible. Any suggestions? 
The “effects” are “internal” to the instrument. HALion Sonic SE is somewhat limited in the ability to edit these parameters. HALion Sonic allows some further editing but the full HALion allows full editing of all the effects internally. I believe there is a HALion demo that you could try out.
