Where did they move the MIDI In Place Edit Button?

On N6.5 back to N1.0, there was a MIDI In Place button located on the MIDI Channel.

I can’t find this button on the channel.

Nor could I find anything in the preferences to add it to the channel. I have access via my MC Conttrol and I could make a KC for it. But I’m wondering WHY they moved it in the first place. Anybody know how to get it to show on the channel itself, like all of the older versions? :question:

What do you mean, that the button isn’t present in the Track Controls Settings either?

Not before monday. Enjoying my first and only weekend off in 2016.

Right click on the track, choose “Track Controls Settings”.
Then move the button to the “visible” side.
Nothing has changed …
