Hello, I’m new to Cubase Elements 14. I understand there is a drum editor in Cubase 14 but I can’t seem to find it. I’m overlooking something obvious I know, so please provide some guidance. Thank you.
Hello and welcome to the forum.
As described in the online manual (which you can access from the Help menu), you can open the drum editor from the MIDI menu (“Open drum editor”).
Hi and welcome to the forum,
The Drum Editor is part of all editions, so you should be able to see it.
If you double-click the MIDI Part, it opens the Drum Editor automatically if any Drum Map is assigned to the track. If it is not, the Key Editor opens (in the Lower Zone, by default). Then you can click on the arrow next to the Editor in the lower zone and select Drum Editor.
Or use the menu MIDI > Open Drum Editor. This opens the Drum Editor in a dedicated window.
Thank you very much. Dave
