Just started watching the tutorials and finally got to the one I want to focus on-- using Halion Sonic SE, so I opened Cubase and the tutorial so I could stop the video and actually do what it says, one step at a time. Got as far as opening HSSE. The video says to click the preset window and two boxes open: a library of categories of sounds opens on the left, and connected to it on the right is the listing of sounds available in each category.
When I click the preset window only one box opens, which is the list of sounds, but there is no library of categories that opens.
I do not have a natural intuitive ability with software, so I’m very dependent upon it performing the way the instruction say it will.
Can someone help with this very elementary question: How do I get the library of categories window to open?
