So everything has been great so far with C7 for me and I decided to try to take advantage of the new channel strip plug ins. Ive used them before just to check em out and worked fine except I never know which channel is selected with automap. Ive attached a screenshot of a brand new project just to show what I mean. Whenever I choose any of the plugs none of the knobs show up anymore.
bump
Similar thing happened to me when I added a 2nd and 3rd mixer.
I had to reinitialize the settings by re-adding the control room to the mixer view.
(Top Left Corner)
It would constantly create the mixer without the bottom and I had no access to the names on the channels…
Hmmm, doesn’t seem to be fixing my problem. Im not having the missing names problem either just the missing knobs. I can double click where the knobs should be and change the values so something really weird is going on. Its funny you mention the control room because Ive never used control room before and decided to set it up on the weekend and now Im having this problem. I wonder if maybe this is an issue more people are having?
had no problem with Ch strip(yet) but have the bottom of mixconsole (names and lower faders) disappearing.
there are some graphic issues with MC when resizing ,moving ,working with workspaces etc…
well . waiting for next update, hope for some fixes.
Check if this helps: Automap 4.5 messed up the interface of the Channel Strip - #3 by vbre - Cubase - Steinberg Forums
That solved it. Thanks. Im really starting to question automap and how effective it is. I wanted to get CC 121 anyways so maybe this just gives me an excuse to get it sooner
Glad I could be of help I use the mouse anyway, and have stopped using Automap. After disabling automap the shutdown problems are gone. I usually had to force quit Cubase.
