This applies to Cubase 12 Pro and 11 Pro in my case.

There are two drivers from nVidia, a game ready one and a studio one. Which one is better or recommended for Cubase? … and also plugins? Is there a better one in general for 3rd party plugins?
Does anyone else with a Gigabyte card download their driver from nVidia or from Gigabyte?
Either one works, but the Studio driver is recommended if you’re exclusively using the computer for DAW work. There’s obviously no need for the Game Ready drivers in that case, which may be rushed to support major game releases.
The Studio drivers receive extra testing before release. They’re otherwise mostly the same as the regular drivers.
You should probably download your drivers from Nvidia. Manufacturer sites almost always have outdated versions.
