Hi everyone. I have a Cubase 15 Pro license, and I’m trying to figure out which HALion libraries are available for free with it.
Is “HALion Sonic Selection” included for free with Cubase 15 Pro?
Right now I’m running the 30-day HALion 7 trial, so it’s a bit hard to tell which instruments are part of the trial only and which ones remain available permanently with Cubase 15 Pro.

Have a look in the Cubase section under “My Products” in the Steinberg Download Assistant. All products that are listed there belong to the Cubase license.

Since I’m currently using the 30-day HALion 7 trial, I see many additional instruments and libraries. What I’m trying to figure out is which HALion libraries are permanently included for free with Cubase 15 Pro, and which ones are only visible because of the HALion 7 trial.
If anyone can clarify which HALion content belongs exclusively to the Cubase 15 Pro license, I would really appreciate it.

And to make matters a bit more confusing, you also have the HALion Sonic Collection, which is HALion Sonic SE but with the HALion 7 library included.

And yes, the part you mentioned about the HALion Sonic Collection definitely makes things even more confusing. Since it’s basically HALion Sonic SE combined with the HALion 7 library, it becomes harder to tell what actually belongs to Cubase and what comes from the full HALion environment.
