When I look at the about page on my DSP mixer there are several numbers like “boot V xx.xx” etc. Which one of these 4 lines represents the firmware?
I emailed Steinberg and they don’t know the answer to their own hardware either apparently.
I guess boot&main is the firmware, because it’s never updated for the UR816C and I have V1.00
The 22/44 are upgraded to version 1.0.1
Other two are driver and DSP software mixer.
That’s the specific question is Boot or Main the firmware? My boot and Main read as two different numbers so I can’t tell if I have the latest firmware or not.
The UR44C should have version V1.01. If you read that in any of the two it should be correct.
