In fact, with the ACE Bridge VST that comes with ACE Studio, you can send AI vocals from ACE Studio to Dorico. I’ve seen a great example of this provided by @Ayaka.
However, it still requires manually importing MIDI to bring the melodies you create in Dorico into ACE Studio for further vocal production. Then, the master output from ACE Studio is sent back to Dorico via the Bridge, allowing you to hear it when you play in Dorico. We feel that this process is still not convenient enough.
We hope that in the new version, users will be able to sync notes from Dorico to ACE Studio directly by clicking a record button, or sync notes while inputting melodies with a MIDI keyboard in Dorico. Of course, achieving a choral effect with a sense of space is also something we aim to complete in the next version.
