The whole rest at the marked spot is not visible. I entered it as a two‑voice score, but the whole rest in the first voice does not appear.
How should I resolve this?

you only have one voice in your example:

(after assigning some notes to a second voice) if you add some notes in the other bars, the necessary rests will appear [see below *]:

If you need to create a bar rest at the beginning or at the end: in Note Input>choose the desired voice>Bars popover (Shift+B)>rest>Enter:
