Why are dynamic markings in other parts also deleted when removing them from one part?

When Dorico deletes the velocity mark in one part of the score, the corresponding velocity marks in other parts will also be deleted accordingly. How to solve this problem?

If I understood well, this happens to linked dynamics.
Unlink it before deleting a part.

Edt: changed (again) grouped into linked.

Thanks, I have solved the problem from edit option

Grouped dynamics are consecutive dynamics in a single staff that automatically align. Linked dynamics are identical dynamics that span multiple staves.

The behavior described by the OP is due to linked dynamics, not grouped dynamics.

By default, linked dynamics are created automatically when you copy and paste dynamics from one staff to another, or input into multiple staves at the same time. If you don’t like this behavior, you can change the default at Preferences > Note Input and Editing > Editing > Link dynamics and slurs to existing items when pasting

You are right Aaorn… Funny that I corrected my post, (I used connected instead of linked) thinking it was more general

Thank you very much!

Would you correct the post that’s granted as a dolution, @Alberto_Maria? It should show linked instead of grouped and a fast lezrner would just skip the entire thread thinking that’s the solution…

Certainly Marc. Delay due to a long travel!
