See photo. I’m building a template and wondering why my Concert layout is printing 2 pages when there’s no music / measures for page 2?
Hi @dallaskruse , you probably have some page overrides.
This happens when you edit for example (in engrave mode) the page directly, instead of editing the Template applied to it. This make the page “independent” of the page template, so that the elements are fixed and Dorico will not automatic delete a page with no music content, as probably happens in your case).
Look in Engrave mode to the right panel called Pages, and see if there are red triangle on the corner of some page icon. If so, right click on the page icon and choose Remove all Page overrides.
I clicked on PAGE 2 and selected REMOVE TEMPLATE CHANGES. That seemed to do the trick?
That’s a Page Template change. Right-click on page 2 in the right panel and remove it, and you’ll find the page deletes.
