I just added a second monitor to my Mac, the other day, and Cubase IC Pro went bust!!! It claimed to not see any computer, and inputting the IP did nothing.
I finally tracked down the source of the problem. It was so farfetched, that it came way down on my list of troubleshooting actions.
When one adds a new monitor to the computer, Cubase looses the “Steinberg SKI Remote” device! And it needs to be reinstalled.
What does adding an extra monitor has to the computer has to do with Cubase IC Pro? Nothing else has changed!!! This is definitely something that Steinberg should look into.
