Why does MIDI track have slanted lines through it?

I don’t know what I did but my midi clip keeps getting slanted lines through it. See image. Any ideas as to what I did? What does that mean?

IT’s superimposed over another midi part.

Thanks Steve. How do I see the other part? As far as I can tell, this midi clip is by itself.

You either have two parts in the same lane or you have single parts in two lanes. If there are two parts in the same lane, you will be able to just click on the striped part and drag the overlapping part to the right of the part underneath. If it’s on separate lanes you will be able to see them by clicking the show lanes icon:
