I’m using a Launchkey 61 MK3, which has been working fine earlier. Though, I think I managed to remove the script file, as it was not working properly. Now the factory scripts seem to have disappeared.
I’ve tried reinstalling - didn’t work.
I tried removing the files from these folders:
Documents > Cubase > Midi Remote > Driver Scripts > Public > Novation > launchkey_mk3_61
and
(C:) > Program Files > Steinberg > Cubase 13 > midiremote_factory_scripts > Public > novation > launchkey_mk3_61
After Cubase 13 setup, the scripts should reside here: C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase 13\midiremote_factory_scripts\Public
and C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\Steinberg\Cubase\MIDI Remote\Driver Scripts\Public
Does Lauchkey MK3 61 appear in MIDI Remote Manager?
If not, you could try to import the script:
I had to repair the installation so the script file appeared in the Program Files > Steinberg folder. Then I copied the file to the Documents script folder. After that it appeared as a disabled controller script in MIDI Remote Manager. Now it’s working, after enabling it!
same issue i presumed steinberg would copy the midi script from 13
NO THEY EXPECT ME TO REWRITE SCRIPTS I CAN NO LONGER USE FOR 8 HARDWARE INSTRUMENTS THAT NO LONGER INTERFACE
HAD THE SAME ISSUE WITH CUBASE 1O THE COMMON CONTROLLER WASNT LISTED UNTIL THE CUBASE 12 UPDATE THUS I COULDNT USE THOUSANDS OF POUNDS WORTH OF KIT FOR 3 YEARS HENCE EVERYONE STARTED USING ABLETON BECAUSE STIENBERG EXPECTS MUSICIANS TO BE SOFTWARE ENGINEERS

KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID LIST THE COMMON CONTROLLERS RATHER THAN KEEPING IT EXCLUSIVE TO YAMAHA MY AKAI MPC CONTROLLER NEVER INTERFACED THAT WAS MONEY DOWN THE DRAIN AS ITS DISCVONTINUED BEFORE ANYONE PROVIDED THE MAP SCRIPT
LUCKILLY THE CONTROLLERS WORK MINUS USING THE SCRIPT BUT YOUDE THINK THEY WOULD MAKE IT EASY
LESS IS MORE … THATS WHY YOU NEED DESIGNERS INSTEAD OF LEAVING THE PROGRAMMING TO IT BOFFS
ARTISTS CANT BE BOTHERED WAISTING CREATIVE TIME DOING ROCKET SCIENCE I CANT BE BOTHERED IT WILL BE QUICKER TO LEARN ABLETON
SO I DONT HAVE TO THROW AWAY KIT I NEVER GOT TO USE
NO ONE EVER RESPONDS IN SUPPORT AND THATS NOT THE SERVICE I EXPECT…THERE IS SUCH A THING AS CONSUMER LAW
I SUGGEST THEY DELIVER THE MAPPINGS IN AN EASY TO LOCATE AND INSTALL MANNER ITS NOT THE CUSTOMERS JOB TO PROGRAM THE INSTRUMENTS HIRE SOME SOFTWARE DESIGNERS
