Why is .gpk file created when no file has been opened after rendering?

When rendering, if I choose not to have the resulting created file opened, why is a .gpk file still created? And is there a way to prevent this?

When I send files to clients, I always have to: sort by type then delete all the .gpk files. When you’re dealing with 250+ total files for an album in various folders (clean/dirty/instrumental/a cappella/24bit/16bit/MP3), this step always leaves a sour taste :frowning:

I recommend to use the 1st of these 2 options:
