Why is this flat sitting higher on the Ab chord symbol?

Flat is sitting properly in the Eb and Ab2 chord symbols. But the Ab chord is off. Any ideas?

And now I see further in the project that the flat on the Db chord symbol is also a bit too high. Not as severe as the Ab, but not matching the other chords with a flat symbol.

What font are you using? What happens if you change it to a different one?
If you do not know much about how to do this, you will find various threads related to Chord symbols font, changing it etc. if you search here, or in the manual, or ask here.

For example if you change to Petaluma just as a test, and you get its related text font for chord symbols, you can see if they look correct. If they do, then it is presumably the font you have chosen for the chord symbols.

There are too many ways for you to have manually edited this for us to have any idea without seeing the file:

If you can post a file, we can sleuth it out. Otherwise we are just guessing.

Changing the font didn’t change the positioning of those flats.

When I was “save-as”-ing the file and removing client info so I could share it here, I checked the Chord Symbols Appearances and found the Ab and Db had been edited. I don’t know why - I have no memory of doing it. So I reset the X and Y for the flats (but had to nudge the flat for the Db a bit to the right because it collided with the D), and Bob is my uncle.
