After working on one track, duplicating it in several, I reached a point where I wanted to sum back several events on separate tracks in one track, summing the result to take care of some small overlap (essentially reverb trails) of these quite successive events.
Taking the dry option in export I was disappointed to discover that the result was getting a 4,5 Db boost. I discovered it using a 180° phase change and playing simultaneously.
I tryed other solutions than export but always Cubase applied this boost ??
Finally I changed the volume of the new event to -4,5db and did a render in place to come back to my original value.
Is there a way to do it directly, without this annoying +4,5Db boost ?
Thanks for help.
Mono → Stereo? Pan law confusion perhaps?
Mono tracks only (no stereo in mono, really mono recorded mono in mono track) ? Pan law in project is +3DB ??
