Why when recording audio cubasis does not show the waveform like in all audio programs and that “red thing” appears spinning around?
Probably requires a good bit of processing power which could take away from the quality of the recording

The processing power is reserved for other tasks. It is possible that this behaviour will change at some point in the future.
