Why would Cubase force Real-Time Export?

I want to export offline, not real-time. I make sure I don’t have the “Real Time Export” clicked in the Export Audio Mixdown window.
I’m not using any external FX or synths.
Anyone have any idea why this may be happening?

Try trashing prefs, if they are some how corrupted

Hi,

What kind of plug-ins do you use, please?

Not sure of it but, as @Martin.Jirsak suggested, I think, it probably depends of the plug-ins/VSTis used. On my end, I have at least one (using samples and being VST 2.4) that doesn’t support anything else but a Real Time export : immediate crash, otherwise.

From which, I took the habit, since a long time, to export anything as Real Time, just to avoid any issue. After all, we are not supposed to watch Cubase screen while the process being done…

In your case, maybe there is a kind of security feature being triggered. Could you share a list of the eventual VSTis/plug-ins used with their VST version ?
