Why is there no mono/stereo switch button in Cubase as in Logic and on hardware mix consoles? All this adding busses is to annoying. Can Steinberg add a stereo/mono button swiths to each channel please.

It’s been a long-standing feature request. Steinberg is aware of it. We’ll see what comes of it.
To make it mono before plugins, you can use any “Stereo Enhance” plugin to keep only mono. Cubase has one built in, or you can use free MSED from Voxengo or similar. To make it mono on output, you can use stereo panner.
