Will the 8.0.10 update fix the video engine output issue?

I’m just wondering if the 8.0.10 update will address the ‘video engine update’ issue that people have reported over the years and versions? I hope the changelog will be published ahead of the update release - any chance of that?

On starting Cubase, the ‘Video Engine Output Has Failed/Stopped/Not Started’ message comes along. The work-around has been to take out videooutput.exe (either put it in a different folder or rename it) and all’s well, including the use of video in Cubase.

I only have Windows experience, not Mac, so I’m not sure if this is the same for that platform.

I’m not holding my breath on this one. Thanks for reading.

Honestly I don’t know if this problem is linked to this, but if they only start by removing this Mac video engine from the Windows version of Cubase, things could only get better.
