I eventually let mine update two days ago to this version. No difference whatsoever for me.
That makes sense. I was thinking, when did Windows get frequencies…? Especially such a slow one.
thanks for your input mkok, I have heard a few posts here and there complaining of issues, I’m getting notifications from MS Windows telling me to update, really would like to hear what the verdict is…
I’ve been monitoring what people think and quite a few early on had problems. Later on I saw there was an update that seemed to fix things. That’s when I thought it time to give it a go. I did have to reinstall my RME driver as the asio driver didn’t show in any software anymore. I also had to set up SoundID again (only assign an interface and bring back my profile)
I didn’t mess about searching for solutions for no asio. I just reinstalled and it worked. This was because I had read in forums (including RME) that doing a reinstall would probably work.
My latency is no different and neither is the performance. I’m guessing it could be different different setups though so no guarantees.
