Windows 7 & 10, Cubase X and SSL Nucleus 1 - does it work?

Hi guys,

I’m thinking of getting a second hand SSL Nucleus 1 as a DAW controller (I’m not interested in the sound card part of it)

I’m currently on Windows 7 but soon moving to Windows 10.

Has anyone here got Nucleus 1 and Cubase X working well using iP MIDI over network using Windows 7 and Windows 10?

Hi,

As far as I know, there is no problem on Windows. On Mac, there is an issue, because Nucleus is using virtual MIDI Port, which is not handled correctly on Mac. But on Windows, it should work.

Hi. I am in the same position as you, running Windows 10 and Cubase X and looking to buy a Nucleus 1. Did you take the plunge and, if so how have your results been?
