Seems that Win 8 is coming out later this year. Any thoughts on what this will do to DAW compatibility/functionality? Maybe Cubase 7 and Wavelab 8 are being made and optimized for this new OS?
As Steiny is on a more or less 2 years cycle for releases of Cubase upgrades, I expect that Cubase 7 will be available early 2013 and is already if not at its programming stage, at least at its implementation and features set one.
Do Steiny got full specifications of W8 already ? Don’t know, but I guess that C7 will still be fully W7 compatible, which means that eventual specific W8 compliance will come later.
