(Wishful thinking?) Mass pedal notch entry?

Hi smart people!

I often find myself adding piano pedal lines with notches on either recurring beats (e.g., downbeat of each bar, or beats 1 and 3 of each bar), or under each chord symbol. It’s easy enough, if a bit tedious, to do one at a time, but I’m hoping someone’s discovered a “Gosh Dorico is so smart” solution like typing “^ every 2 beats” into the Performance Techniques pop-up (which doesn’t work, alas :winking_face_with_tongue:). Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

David

You can select multiple notes (ctrl-click each) and apply the retake to all of them in one action.

Thanks, @Janus—I had discovered that one, but it still requires me to click at each pedal change location. I’m (selfishly and naively, I’m sure) hoping for a way to, e.g., select a number of bars or even an entire piano part and tell Dorico to apply pedal notches at each chord change in one fell swoop. :crossed_fingers:t2::grimacing::crossed_fingers:t2:
