WL 11 - a way to set the horizontal zoom for all open wave files at once?

Hi there,

I’m just in the process of editing hundreds of wave files - right now, I need to see the beginning of the each wave file zoomed in.

At the moment, I have to drag the horizontal zoom wheel for each file again.

Is there a way to set the general view of all open files to the same zoomed in value?

Thanks so much!

Nicolay

What you can do, is to set a global snapshot as you like, then to apply it later to other files…
Check the doc.

PG That feature is super useful BTW

Thansk PG! Looks exactly like what I need.

However, I just tried it, but the preset seems to be available only to the wave file I created it with it. When I switch to another file, the preset is gone.

Checked the manual, but didn’t find that problem there. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks so much, as usual!

P.S. That feature is likely to prevent me from getting a mouse arm, since I don’t have to scroll to the right all the time

No. There are four presets. The three on the left are local to the current audio file, but the fourth, as pointed out in my picture, is “global” and remains even after you close the file. This means it can be applied to other files, even those not yet opened.

Aaaaaaaah, got it! Thanks for the hint. It’s the details, as usual

P.S. There’s no way of changing the shortcut, right? I just checked, and it seems to be grayed out in the preferences. I’ll get used to the shortcut then
