So, I’ve sent this to Steinberg support email, but I’m not sure if they got it. And since they currently take over a month to reply, I was thinking to report the bug in here.
I run a Win10 machine with the latest update. I use 150% dpi, and when resizing some of windows / panels of the program it jitters, meanwhile some other GUI elements pop in and out.
WL12 Pro has a setting (in Global > Display > Misc) that is called “Show application in High DPI”, and mine is enabled.
The WaveLab system requirments is for the display resolution is a minimum of 1440 x 900 at 100% UI scaling. This means, at 150%, this would be 2160 x 1350 pixels.
Please consider a bigger screen than 1920 x 1080 if you want a scaling of 150%, or use 100% scaling.
If you have the space, I highly recommend a 2560 x 1440 screen of 32 inches, with 100% scaling. This is about 0.27 mm per pixel (about 96 DPI) and provides excellent readability and optimal performance since it is not HDPI.
FYI, the quoted screen is the main screen on which WaveLab is being developed
And this, for more years than I remember.
I have actually two other connected screens (this time in HDPI) because I need to test WaveLab on multiple screens with different resolutions and, of course, because this is an additional comfort.
