I thinks physical outputs are goods client for upgrading.
There is already a volume on the 5 possible outputs. in the master section
It seems to me it works in a « or » config not « and » but I could be wrong.
For lacquer cutting, I need an output with one or two plug-ins to compensate for the cutting head. And some colleagues probably also need an additional RIAA curve for small lathes like the NV8.
These plug-ins should not be heard on the monitoring path,
but they are necessary on the physical output
Other colleagues use Sonarworks or similar solutions and have several pairs of monitors, so they need several instances of Sonarworks.
it would make sense to have a plug-in slot directly on the physical output.
Maybe I missed an existing way to do this, but for now I don’t see any.
I hope this can be implemented. What do you think about it?
If I follow correctly, you would like an output that is rendered to file but not to the playback stream. Right? Kind of the opposite of what the playback section is for the master section.
It’s more a monitor playback slot actually, but only attached to one output and not other outputs.
for cutting its always real-time, we just need to make decision comparing orignal, to cutted version. So technical plugging correction for the cutter head, we don’t need to be eared directly.
in a multi speakers multi room correction plugin scenario, one output per speaker. Plug-in for a monitor speaker isn’t necessarily the same as the other speakers, headphones
Yes, switching the speakers turns off the others.
What I mean is that you cannot have the audio going to one output with plugins and the same audio going to another output without the plugins.
Is that what you need?
