I would appreciate it if macros, key combinations, presets of any kind were network compatible. So that a created macro or vst-preset, track-preset … is also available at all other workstations. Because everyone uses a common network drive for the program settings and presets.
We are currently solving this (Windows) by creating a hard link “\steinberg” to a network drive under Users.…\Documents. All computers then store and use a common network directory.
It works - But I think this is only a bad workaround.
Copying profiles does not replace this function - because it does not share presets and new macros.
