Anyone knows if this update will work on Yosemite 10.10.4?
It would be a problem updating to newer OS X.

Are you kidding?
It does not even work on Sierra 
(That is if you have an intensity pro and want to use full HD video, if you need DNxHD or want to use RX6 or AAF)
It does work on El Capitan 10.11.6
