Writing midi CC data as automation

Hi.

Using a keyboard with sliders, I’d like to write midi CC data to a track.
However I’d like it to be written in the track automation lane,
and not inside the midi part editor CC lane.

Can’t manage to do that…
Is it doable?

Or alternatively, is there a way to move/copy a part CC data, into the track automation?

Yes…
MIDI menu>CC Automation Setup> set the strangely-named “Record Destination on conflict (global)” option to “Automation Track” instead of “MIDI Part”.
