Yamaha released a new DAW controller for are there any plans for support with Dorico?
I would love something like this that worked with Dorico.
Currently selling for around ÂŁ325 in the UK, which slightly cuts into my desire. I supposed the combined streamdeck / MIDI controller functionality is pretty impressive.
“Cubase AI” is a confusing name for a cut-down version of Cubase; though Steinberg’s naming schemes have always been a bit mad.
It looks like it needs a bunch of drivers and configuration software that you have to download.
There at the very end it seems to be a motorized fader, which is cool to me and I’m supposing is a cost factor. Some might wish for two faders for library expression use?
I hope the fact it is recently introduced means the Yamaha/Steinberg developers have planned for its use with Dorico, hopefully not too far down the road.

Seems like it isn’t the only thing of its kind coming to market. I saw a multichannel version of the Yamaha, and Roland, I think, announcing something similar to the cc1
