Yamaha Steinberg ASIO driver crashing with FL studio producer version

I recently got a Yamaha DM3 mixer and I use it with FL studio producer version on a Windows 11 x64 Laptop.
During live recordings and playback sessions, the audio keeps getting interrupted and breaking- that’s very frustrating for a smooth workflow.
I bought a new USB cable, and ensured the sample rate is set correctly at 96Khz and followed all the troubleshooting recommended but it still continues making it a big nuisance.
I updated with the most recent ASIO drivers but no improvements.

Any fix for this?

Maybe the Laptop isn’t the right machine for real time audio. That is much more stress than you might think.

Do you use USB3 ports on the laptop?
Try to change to USB2.

Yeah, very frustrating and slows down workflow. I am using ROG STRIX 17 with AMD Ryzen9 5900Hx, 16gb RAM and 1 TB SSD storage. I have switched the ports but the problem persists.
