Got this of Yamaha the other day.

You do not have to use Studio manager for MOX6 editor
You can download VST editor for Cubase from link below:

01V96 does need studio manager Latest will work with all version of Windows but as we do not have Cubase 8.5 here I cannot confirm with this version of Cubase
