The problem is recording data/melodies into midi tracks with the Yamaha Tyros 3 master keyboard in Cubase 14 Elements. On my other laptop in Win7 Professional, with CB Element 7, this was no problem. I only had to switch on the Tyros connected to the laptop with a USB cable, then start the program and Tyros3 was integrated without any problems. It then appeared in Cubase as a digital workstation.
I was also able to control the sound of the Tyros via Midi signal. And the output could be fed back/recorded as an audio file in Cubase. It was a great thing.
This does not work now with Cubase Element14 on my Windows 11 computer, . Windows 11 also recognizes the Tyros 3 as a digital workstation, so it’s not the connection, only Cubase 14 Element doesn’t connect. I would be happy to find a solution.
By the way, my small mixer console and audio interface Mackie ProFX10v3+ is perfectly integrated into Cubase via USB3.2.
